Manage Signal Notification Rules
One of the most powerful features of the CXOsignal family of ADO dashboard extension widgets is their ability to continuously monitor your OKRs, all associated data, and alert you when something needs your attention. The Signals tab in OKRsignal shows you what is being monitored. Each Signal defines what to monitor, who to notify, when to escalate, and the cadence on which to evaluate each Signal's rules — daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Signals are designed to first alert the people directly responsible for an OKR, Epic, Feature, or Issue and give them a chance to take corrective action. The escalation clause in Signal's rules is designed to notify higher levels of leadership if the original alert has not been resolved after a reasonable period of time.
CXOrelay required for email delivery
OKRsignal is the UI for managing Signals. Signal evaluation and sending email alerts is performed by the CXOrelay widget, which must be installed and configured separately. See the Install CXOrelay guide to set this up.
