What does OKRsignal do?
OKRsignal is one of the widgets in the CXOsignal Azure DevOps (ADO) dashboard extension available in the ADO Marketplace.
OKRsignal is the dashboard extension widget you use to:
- create and update your Objectives and Key Results
- define the Signal rules that notify you when things go off track
- view each key result's achievement against a target plan
- view the overall OKR achievement forecast against the target
- associate Epics (deliverables) and issues from ADO boards with the OKR
- record Notes and Decisions for the OKR
- add parent or child OKRs to form a hierarchy of OKRs
OKRsignal displays color-coded status and outcome forecasts for each key result and for the overall Objective. It surfaces the Epics that form your Solution Hypothesis — the things your team believes need to be built to achieve the OKR — and highlights any Issues currently blocking progress.
The Signals tab defines the rules for sending notifications when things go off track. Evaluation of these rules along with sending notification emails is done by the CXOrelay widget (see CXOrelay Overview).
